Ultra-Sports-Massage, located in New Bern, NC, offers therapeutic massage sessions based on your goals and needs. Some clients come with specific issues, such as shoulder pain, low back pain or migraine headaches. Many others come for stress relief or general relaxation. Both of these aspects of massage are equally important to the quality of life and he is well versed in practicing either one.
Ralph graduated as a massage therapist in July 1991 fron the American Institute of Massage Therapy, Kailua Hawaii. He operated under the name "Lokahi Massage"; "Lokahi" being the Hawaiian word for "Harmony". He is adept in Swedish massage, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and has continued his education with many diverse courses. He specialized in Sports Massage and is a member of AMTA North Carolina Sports massage team.
On a personal note, Ralph is an experienced marathon runner and triathlete having completed ten Honolulu marathons and two Ironman races. The first in Tempe, Arizona 2007 and the World Championship Ironman in Kona, Hawaii in 2008.
Being an lronman triathlete, he understands the needs of athletes; however, the techniques developed for athletes are also used to provide the appropriate treatment of all clients to provide relief from pain and stress
